Join us on an unforgettable 9-day journey across Kyrgyzstan, centered around one of the world’s most spectacular cultural events — the World Nomad Games.
Immerse yourself in the energy of this global celebration of ancient traditions, where you will witness thrilling horse games, traditional wrestling, archery, mounted competitions, folklore performances, and the vibrant spirit of nomadic heritage brought to life by athletes from dozens of countries.
Alongside the Games, this tour takes you through Kyrgyzstan’s most iconic landscapes — colorful canyons, hot springs, alpine valleys, the shores of Issyk-Kul, and authentic village life.
Day 1. Arrival in Bishkek – City Tour – Independence Day – Opening Ceremony (August 31)
Arrive at Manas International Airport and transfer to your hotel.
After a short rest, enjoy a light city tour of Bishkek’s main landmarks:
Ala-Too Square, Oak Park, Philharmonic Hall, and Victory Square.

As August 31 is Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day, the city becomes especially festive — with concerts, performances, open-air events, and colorful celebrations on Ala-Too Square. Guests can enjoy the holiday atmosphere and traditional showcases.
In the evening, attend the Opening Ceremony of the World Nomad Games, a spectacular show of nomadic culture, music, horse performances, and international delegations.

Day 2. Bishkek – Aksay Canyon – Bokonbaevo – Eagle Hunting Show (September 1)
Distance: 240 km
Driving time: 5-6 hours

Depart Bishkek and travel toward Issyk-Kul through the scenic Aksay Canyon, known for its layered red rocks and desert-like formations contrasting with the snowy Tian Shan peaks.
Arrive in Bokonbaevo Village, famous for preserving Kyrgyz nomadic traditions.
Enjoy a professional Eagle Hunting Demonstration, where golden eagles showcase speed, precision, and centuries-old hunting techniques passed down through generations.
Dinner and overnight in a cozy guesthouse or yurt camp near the lake.

Day 3. Bokonbaevo – Skazka Canyon – Jeti-Oguz – Karakol
(September 2)
Distance: 150 km
Driving time: 3 hours
Drive along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul and explore Skazka Canyon, a magical landscape of red sandstone sculptures shaped into castles, dragons, and fairy-tale figures by wind and time.
Continue to Jeti-Oguz Gorge, famous for the tall red cliffs known as “Seven Bulls” and the “Broken Heart Rock,” surrounded by pine forests and mountain meadows.
Arrive in Karakol for dinner and rest.

Day 4. Karakol – Altyn Arashan Valley (Hot Springs)
(September 3)
Distance: 20 km
Driving time: 1.5 hours on 4x4

Board a Soviet-style UAZ 4x4 and take an adventurous road up to Altyn Arashan, one of Kyrgyzstan’s most beautiful alpine valleys.
The area is known for its hot springs, wooden bridges, riverside meadows, and stunning views of snow-covered peaks.
Dinner and overnight in a mountain guesthouse surrounded by peaceful nature.

Accommodation: Guesthouse in Altyn Arashan
Day 5. Altyn Arashan – Karakol City Tour – Cholpon-Ata (September 4)
Distance: 150 km
Driving time: 3 hours
Return to Karakol and explore its cultural heritage:
— Dungan Mosque (a Chinese-style wooden mosque built without a single nail)
— Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral
— Local bazaar & historical center
Continue to Cholpon-Ata, the heart of the Issyk-Kul lake region and the main venue for the World Nomad Games.

Day 6. World Nomad Games: Competition Day (September 5)
Spend the full day at the World Nomad Games, watching traditional nomadic sports:

Day 7. World Nomad Games: Finals & Grand Ceremony (September 6)
The most exciting day of the festival — the Finals of all competitions, including the legendary horse game Kok-Boru, fire shows, closing performances, and delegations from across the world.

Accommodation: Hotel / Guest house in  Cholpon-Ata
Day 8. Cholpon-Ata – Burana Tower – Optional Rafting – Bishkek (September 7)
Distance: 280 km
Driving time: 4–5 hours

Depart to Bishkek with a stop at the famous Burana Tower, a 10th-century Silk Road minaret surrounded by ancient balbals (stone figures).

Optional: Rafting tour in Boom Gorge — an exciting and safe adventure among canyon walls and mountain river rapids.

Arrive in Bishkek and check into a 4* hotel

Day 9. Departure (September 8)
